SELWYN ARTISTIC SWIMMING
based in Selwyn, Canterbury
Artistic Swimming, formerly known as Synchronised Swimming is a sport described as "ballet in the water". The incredible skill it takes to stay upside down, while still looking graceful and most of all, staying in time with your partner or team.
We are always looking for new athletes to join our club. If you're aged 6 or above and can swim confidently, have a great attitude and bonus points if you're flexible - we would love to hear from you!
ABOUT
We are a club that bases our values on hard work but most importantly having fun. Our Head Coach is also the Head Coach of the National Junior Team so we know the club is in good hands.
At Selwyn Artistic Swimming, we structure our lessons so that our newest swimmers can swim with our older swimmers to create an incredible team feel. We have boys and girls from 5 years old - 18 years old, from recreational through to World Stage Athletes.
We would love to have you part of our synchro team here in Christchurch!

Thursday 5:30-8pm & Sunday 8-12:30pm

Tuesday 5:30-9pm, Thursday 5:30-9pm & Sunday 8am-12:30pm

Extension class (Open age group)
Friday 6:00-8:30pm

Our New Zealand Representatives
Selwyn Artistic Swimming has had 7 of our Athletes represent New Zealand in the PikoPiko, Koru and Fern Squads travelling to different competitions including World Championships in 2022.
Amelia and Clara are our current NZ athletes, representing New Zealand and Selwyn Artistic Swimming in Dubai World Series and Junior World Championships in Lima, alongside our Selwyn Head Coach and National Team Coach, Chantelle.
